His Grace Bishop Maxim visits St. Sava Church in San Gabriel, California
On Sunday, September 11, 2022 the parishioners of Saint Sava Church parish in San Gabriel, California gathered for the Divine Liturgy commemorating the Feast of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist.
His Grace Bishop Maxim concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with the parish priest, Fr. Predrag Bojovic, and the assistance of 12 altar assistants, and participation of a multitude of people.
During the service all the victims and families of the 9/11/2001 attack were prayerfully remembered together with departed parishioners + Victoria Babic, a long-time member of the parish, our newly deceased parishioner + Vera Timofjeva, and + Momcilo Djujic of blessed memory.
At the end of the service His Grace invoked the blessing of the Holy Spirit on our youngest parishioners on the occasion of the beginning of the new school year!
