Monastery Slava of the Meeting of the Lord Monastery in Escondido, California
The monastery Slava of the Meeting of the Lord Monastery in Escondido, California was celebrated on Saturday, February 15, 2025. His Grace Bishop Maxim celebrated the Holy Hierarchical Divine Liturgy. Concelebrating with His Grace were Heiromonk Rev. Vasilije Gavrilovic, V. Rev. Protopresbyter-Stavrophor: Bratislav Bratso Krsic, Blasko Paraklis and Milovan Katanic and Rev. Vladan Radovanovic.
At the conclusion of the liturgy and the Blessing of the Slava Gifts, His Grace welcomed and greeted all pilgrims to the monastery who came from the Serbian parishes in the greater San Diego area, Los Angeles, Irvine as well as the faithful from the local Pan Orthodox parishes, wishing everyone a blessed feast and joyous Slava celebration.
During the agape Bishop Maxim presented the monastery benefactor, Ratko Djekich, with a portrait that His Grace had painted of him.
