Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
We lift our hearts in Above as we praise our Savior, Who through the Incarnation in Bethlehem grants us peace and heals every division in creation. With Him, every expression of joy over life, of wonderment over the unknown, the desire to transcend death, and to seek justice for suffering people – especially in Serbian Kosovo and Syria – are brought into sharper focus.
To be fully human – for this is the essence of Christ’s Incarnation – demands the descent to human pain and frailty. It is in this extreme situation that God acts, sending his Son into this deadened world and into our hardened, yet broken, hearts, Let us go to Bethlehem of the Eucharist, then, to receive the bread of life, a new life, that we now celebrate, as we partake of his body, extending his gift throughout the world, making of ourselves a present to others, so that we can truly say in word and deed: Christ is Born!

Драга браћо и сестре у Господу,
Уздижући срца Горе, прослављамо нашег Спаситеља, Који нам Својим Оваплоћењем у Витлејему дарива мир и исцељује сваку поделу у творевини. Са Њим, сваки израз радости у животу, дивљење пред непознатим, жудња за превазилажењем смрти, и тражење правде за страдалнике, на првом месту Косовске Србе и Сиријске хришћане, добијају још снажнији нагласак.
Бити потпуни човек, то је суштина Христовог Оваплоћења, а оно захтева прихватање људског бола и немоћи. Бог делује у граничном стању историје, шаљући Сина у овај неосетљиви свет и у наша отврдела срца. Пођимо стога у Витлејем Свете Евхаристије да примимо Хлеб новог Живота којим се сада причешћујемо, делећи дар са целим светом док приносимо себе другима, да бисмо истински, речју и делом, могли рећи: Христос се роди!
Шаљући Вам ову празничну честитку и молитвене жеље, благодаримо на вашој помоћи нашој Епархији током протекле године! Да Господ благослови Вас и Ваше најближе.
