Dear brothers and sisters,
Having embarked on the Lenten podvig (spiritual struggle) and journey to the joyous feast of Pascha, I invite you, the faithful children of our Diocese, as well as all Orthodox, that on this year’s Sunday of Orthodoxy we witness our conciliar love for our Church in Montenegro.
During these days, our brothers and sisters in Montenegro have been prayerfully walking in processions from homes to churches, from sanctuary to sanctuary. Peacefully and proudly, through their sacrificial love they are protecting the altars of God, which are the source of blessing and meaning in the confusion of this world.
Therefore, our dear faithful, I invite all of you to gather together in your churches on the Sunday of Orthodoxy, March 8, 2020. At the end of the Divine Liturgy a traditional Litiya (procession) will begin, during which time we will hold the holy icons in our hands, proud that we belong to the Church of Christ the God-man, and in conciliar celebration of the historic victory of the Orthodox Church over the heresy of iconoclasm.
At the same time, our litiya in America this year will, in a symbolic and visible manner, be in support of our Church in Montenegro which has been stripped of its rights and whose sanctuaries are threatened with an unjust law. The sanctuaries which are protected by the Orthodox in Montenegro are places of blessing and salvation. Thus, our steps in a prayerful and conciliar litiya throughout America will be our joint walk with our brothers and sisters affected by the injustice and insensitivity of those in power.
May our walking and chanting in the procession on the Sunday of Orthodoxy be a prayerful petition to the Lord that He grant victory of Truth over falsehood, Icons over idols and that He grant those in power wisdom and an ear to hear the just demands of the Church in Montenegro!
Не дамо Светиње! We will not give up our Sanctuaries!

Драга браћо и сестре,
Кренувши на великопосни подвиг и путовање ка радосном празнику Васкрса, упућујемо позив вама, верној деци наше Епархије, као и свим Православнима, да ове године у Недељу Православља саборно посведочимо љубав и према нашој Цркви у Црној Гори.
У ове дане, наша браћа и сестре у Црној Гори молитвено корачају у литијама од дома до храма, од светиње до светиње. Смирено и поносно, они својом жртвеном љубављу штите олтаре Божије, који су извор освећења и смисла у пометњи овог света.
Стога вас, драги наши верници, позивам да се у Недељу Православља, 8. марта 2020. године, сви окупимо у нашим храмовима. На крају Литургије ће кренути традиционална литија, којом приликом ћемо, држећи у рукама свете иконе, поносни што припадамо Цркви Христа Богочовека, саборно прославити историјску победу Православне Цркве над иконоборачком јереси.
Истовремено, наша овогодишња литија у Америци ће на симболичан и видљив начин бити подршка и обесправљеној Цркви у Црној Гори чије су светиње угрожене неправедним законом. Светиње које бране православни у Црној Гори јесу места освећења и спасења. Због тога наши кораци у молитвеној саборној литији широм Америке биће заједничко корачање са браћом и сестрама који су погођени неправдом и неосетљивошћу моћника.
Нека наш ход и појање у литији у Недељу Православља буде молитвени призив Господу да дарује победу Истине над лажју, Иконе над идолима и да онима на власти дарује мудрост и слух за праведне захтеве Цркве у Црној Гори!
