Before Thy Cross we bow down in worship, O Master, and Thy holy Resurrection we glorify.
On the March 18th, 2012, the Third Sunday of Great and Holy Lent, His Grace Bishop Maxim, V. Rev. Nicholas Ceko, V. Rev. Lazar Vasiljevic, V. Rev. Ilija Dajkovic, Rev. Heiromonk Jovan Babic, Rev. Norman Kosanovich, and the parishioners of the Saint Steven's Cathedral in Alhambra, California commemorated the Precious and Life-Gving Cross of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. At this point on our lenten journey, "the Life-Giving Cross is presented to us for refreshment and assurance, for remembrance of our Lord's Passion, and for comfort...." and prepares us for the commemoration of the Crucifixion during Holy Week.
